POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER APPLICATION (PGDCA)



We live in an era of ever changing and developing technologies. The advent of such changes and accessibility to technologies has opened many doors to unemployed graduates. In today’s age of information and technology a person not having computer knowledge is termed as an ‘illiterate’ even though it sounds harsh! Such an environment has given apt scope to introduce a course like PGDCA. The course has its own unique features. It not only provides higher qualification in computer application, to acquire better job opportunities for unemployed youth but also for employed youth, It also gives scope to equip with additional qualifications which in turn helps them to raise their standard of living.


Eligibility Criteria

Any Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 45% marks for General Merit & 35% marks for S.C., S.T. & Cat – I in any discipline.


Mode & Duration:

It is the Course of 1 year duration consisting of two semesters with an examination at the end of each semester. Each semester consists of five theory papers (one with Elective) and two practicals.
